The Racing List is a result of a journey, a love for horse racing, and turning a personal passion into something I’m excited to share with you.

While I haven’t always loved horse racing, seeing data analytics used to achieve incredible success piqued my interest. It wasn’t just about the wins; it was about the power of data to transform an understanding of the sport. That’s when I decided to dive into The Racing List.

Behind the idea of The Racing List is Jenna and Rob.

Rob's love affair with horse racing began over 20 years ago, right around the time we met. Like many racing fans, he experienced the highs and lows of racing. After years of loving the sport but not always coming out on top, he decided to delve into data analytics in 2020 during his spare time. This decision changed everything.

Working in data analytics wasn’t always Rob's career path, but his passion for horse racing guided him there. In fact, during his interview for his current job, he predicted a race winner using data analytics—and it won! That clinched the job for him, proving that data can indeed unlock winners.

Since then, Rob's success in horse racing has steadily grown… He’s predicted the Grand National winner for the past five years, turned a £19 bet into over £12,000 at Cheltenham, and is barred from almost every online bookmaker due to his consistent wins. His weekends are often spent sending tips to friends heading to racecourses for a stag do or birthday. With such great results, Rob decided to start a free newsletter to share his thoughts and reflections on horse racing.

Rob and I have always enjoyed working on projects together. We co-hosted a podcast that reached number six in the Canadian charts, ran our consultancy for 12 years, and secured over £3m of funding for various charities through our efforts. I set up my own business in 2022, and I've never been busier—or happier. The Racing List is another project on my mission to show that the things you are passionate about can also be the key to financial freedom.

I’m now running The Racing List and driving the newsletter forward with the same data-driven approach that brought us so much success. Rob is not completely out the picture (He would never let that happen!)… In the evening and weekends, he provides his insights and reflections in the free weekly and monthly newsletters.
